An Easter WORDLE
Almost overnight, the game WORDLE has become an internet success. If you know you know. Here’s a simply way to use this letter based game as part of a service on Easter Sunday.
You will need:
‘How to make your own WORDLE game’ for instructions, or head straight to the site: My WORDLE
Internet access
By clicking on the link above, you can create your own WORDLE.
We have based this quick activity on John 20:1-18, but you could use any Bible passage.
Choose a five letter word from John 20:1-18. Our suggestions are:
EARLY
STONE
LINEN
TAKEN
JESUS …of course :)
You could:
Send the WORDLE link out in your church newsletter or on your church’s social media pages.
Display the WORDLE on the big screen at church, or on Zoom. Encourage people of all ages to have their Bible’s open to John 20:1-18 to help them. Invite people to call out their guesses (put them in the chat screen). I.e., Someone under 20, someone wearing green, someone who had Weetbix for breakfast!
